Magtouch Electronics is a design and development company with manufacturing facilities and repair and support services. We specialise in equipment that is tough and simple to use. Our products are designed and made in South Africa.

| 2005 | The Magcell, the first online guard monitoring unit in South Africa, using the same baton as the desktop system |
| 2010 | Magtouch Electronics CC is registered |
| 2016 | Suga Blu, the first real-time online baton |
| 2019 | The Tagtough baton and the Mini Rock are certified intrinsically safe for Zone 0 |
| 2019 | Mini Rock, a smaller stainless steel baton made for fatigue management |
| 2019 | Telegram alerts are added to the online platform |
| 2020 | The Tagtough desktop software is released |
| 2022 | New shifts are added to the online platform, with better control room software |
| 2023 | A new phone application is introduced |
| 2025 | The Remote Uploader puts stainless steel batons online over Wi-Fi |
| 2025 | The Stationary Guard and the Wifilock are released |
| 2026 | The GuardSense and Beago phone applications are introduced, along with a free Telegram bot. More than 30,000 of our units are in the field |
