Support / Magcell and Online Guarding (earlier systems)
Reading an overview report
Applies to: the earlier Online Guarding interface. Tagtough Online has its own Overview report; see the how-to on reports.
The report covers one day and has two sections.
Site activity
This shows whether the unit on site is working and whether the guards are uploading correctly. It has 24 blocks, one for each hour.
- Green background: the unit contacted the server at least once in that hour. This is what you want in every block. A Magcell contacts the server every 51 minutes to show that it is still working.
- Pink background: no contact in that hour. The unit was switched off, damaged, out of airtime or out of signal. Leave the unit on at all times.
Icons in a block show what happened in that hour. An icon appears once even if the event happened several times.
| Icon | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Power-up | The unit was switched on. This should be rare |
| Upload | A baton was uploaded successfully and had data in it |
| Empty baton | The baton was uploaded but held no data, or it was removed before the upload finished |
| Touch port | The baton was put on and taken straight off, or something else touched the port. Usually the guard needs showing how to upload |
| Keypad | A keypad event was sent |
| Panic | The panic button was pressed. It is under the unit and is also used as a test or to show a supervisor was on site |
| Tamper | The unit was opened |
Clocked data
One column for each hour and one row for each point. If a point was clocked, the time is shown in that block.
- Green: this point was clocked in that hour.
- White: other points were clocked in that hour, but not this one.
- Grey: no points were clocked in that hour.
A white block in a row of green ones is a point missed on that patrol.
