Kijani
Current
Also known as: Kijani Battle Bot Platform, Mootbot
An open-source ESP32 controller board for small battle robots and classroom robotics, driven from a phone's web browser.
Kijani puts everything a small robot needs on one board: motor drivers, servo outputs, battery charging and a Wi-Fi access point. Switch it on, join its Wi-Fi with a phone, and drive the robot from a web page. No app is needed.
It was made to make combat robotics cheaper and easier for beginners, and it suits school and club robotics just as well.
What you can build
- Flipper and spinner battle bots
- Two-wheel differential drive robots
- Robots steered by a servo
- Classroom and experimental robots
Make it your own
The control page is ordinary HTML and JavaScript stored on the board, so you can change the controls or write your own. Files are uploaded through the browser, and the board has an open HTTP API.
