Moving a unit to another server
Applies to: older cellular units from the move from onlineguarding.com to onlineguarding.co.za.
Most units can be set up by SMS. If that does not work, the unit has to go to a local representative.
- Set the site up on the new server as if the unit were already connected.
- Open the site on the Sites tab and use the setup SMS link. Enter the unit's cell phone number.
- On site, switch the unit off with its key and on again. Wait until it is ready.
- Switch it off again. Hold the call button, if it has one, and switch it on without letting go. Release when it says ready.
- Check on the new server that the unit is communicating.
