Renaming your ID points
If your reports show unknown points, the software does not yet know where they are. Name them like this:
- Download your baton to empty it.
- Write your site name at the top of a piece of paper.
- Walk around the site clocking every point. Each time you clock one, write its name on the paper.
- Download the baton on your computer.
- Look at the report that opens. The points in the report are in the same order as your list.
- In the software, click Checkpoints. The unknown points are listed there.
- Click each point and type its correct name in the box below.
Reports from now on show the names.
