ID points with holders

Also known as: ID wall points, ID point, Touch point, iButton, Checkpoint
Wireless, waterproof, battery-free checkpoints. Each has a unique number and is clocked with a baton to prove presence.
Each ID point has a unique number. Points are mounted along a patrol route and touched with a baton; the baton records which point and when.
The holder is designed so the point fits snugly and, mounted correctly, cannot be removed without removing the holder. There is no limit to the number of points on a route or a site. Points can also be fixed to equipment for asset checks.
Beware of counterfeits
Copies of our ID points are on the market. A genuine holder is made from nylon, and does not fade or crack in the sun. If you are not sure that yours are genuine, ask us.
Colours
Holders are black as standard. Other colours are available on request.
Care
- Most faults are dirt. Wipe the point with a damp cloth.
- Points do not work under water. They work when damp as long as they are clean; on a dusty site, dirty points can stop working when it rains.
- A point that makes the baton flash twice, or not at all, is faulty. Points cannot be repaired. They fail from physical damage or electric shock.

- Gives the baton a unique number to record, with the date and time.
- Works with no battery and no wiring, so a point can be mounted anywhere a screw will hold.
