Repair tools and spares
Tools
- Multimeter: must read 4 V to 0.1 V resolution and current down to 1 µA. Check its calibration regularly.
- Electrical: temperature-controlled solder station, glue gun, heat gun, magnifying light.
- Hand tools: pliers, side cutters, screwdriver set, 10 mm spanner (opens the baton), water pump pliers, aluminium vice attachment.
- Consumables: spare wire, solder, heat shrink.
Spares
Parts were listed on the old wiki for the Magtouch Electronics baton (touch port, PCB, battery, casings in stainless steel and Titanium Crystal), the Mag Express (covers, key switch, call button, battery, motherboard, PSU, display) and the Mag II (case, modem, motherboard, PSU).
