The Magtouch Electronics desktop patrol system sold under the Access Line brand, with its own uploader software, a stainless steel baton and the UComm 3 docking station.
Replaced by Tagtough Starter Kit.
Access Line was a branded edition of the Magtouch Electronics desktop system. Guards clock ID points with a stainless steel baton; the baton is read on a UComm 3 docking station and the Access Line uploader program produces the reports.
The pamphlets describe three uses: guard monitoring, maintenance and asset inspection, and portable time and attendance for remote sites, with ID buttons on staff cards.
Helpful hints from the original guide
- Clear the baton's memory after every upload. Downloads are faster and the data is always from the last patrol.
- Keep a test ID point near the computer and clock it before and after each upload, to show the baton was working when it was handed out and when it came back.

Access Line is made by Magtouch Electronics in South Africa. It is no longer made. It was replaced by the Tagtough Starter Kit. It works with: Magtouch Electronics baton, Upload Station, ID points with holders and Magtouch Electronics desktop software.
